Modal belongs to High-wet-modulus (HWM) regenerated cellulose fiber, which is similar to rayon fabrics, but modal is made of wood pulp from European shrubs and then made through a special spinning process, while rayon Cotton is a cellulose fiber obtained by extracting and remodeling fiber molecules from cotton pulp or wood pulp. Compared with the raw material and processing process of rayon modal, it is environmentally friendly and free from any pollution. It is the second generation of artificial cellulose fabric.

The modal jersey we choose is made of modal fibers certified by Lenzing or Birla. It feels softer, smoother, shinier and brighter, and has better drapability than cotton, polyester, and rayon jersey. 

Modal jersey hijab has 50% higher moisture absorption capacity than cotton fiber, which makes modal jersey hijab stay dry and cool for very long time. And it has natural anti-wrinkle and non-iron properties, which makes wearing modal jersey hijab more convenient and natural. At the same time, the color fastness of modal jersey is good, compared with pure cotton, it is more comfortable to wear. It does not have the disadvantages of pure cotton that it is easy to fade and yellow, and the more it is washed, the softer it becomes.
